Our Mission - Learning Made Real
Something Sweet for the Southside exists to help youth ages 15 to 24 from the South Phoenix/Laveen area, identify their purpose by creating hands-on opportunities through guidance from local mentors and community partners. Our g is to expose our youth to exclusive behind-the-scenes knowledge in business ownership, skilled trades, and creative careers that build wealth, confidence, leadership, and long-term community impact.
To create a thriving South Phoenix where every young person has access to opportunities and a supportive community that equips them to reach their fullest potential and become leaders who positively impact future generations.
